Celebrate Arbor Day 2018!
The Shade Tree Commission of Little Falls will be hosting an Arbor Day Celebration on April 27, 2018 at 5:30 pm along the Morris Canal Bike Path on Wilmore Road at 3rd Ave. Trees are an important asset to our community, they aid in the beauty, biodiversity and historic character of our town. The Shade Tree Commission will be planting ten beautiful Higan Cherry ‘Autumnalis’ trees along both sides of the Morris Canal Bike Path.
There will be poetry readings - Little Falls students have been asked to create a poem in celebration of Arbor Day telling us what trees mean to them and describing trees in any style of poem they please - and a tree seedling giveaway. Come join the Girl and Boy Scouts, Township Council Members, local residents and students and celebrate Arbor Day!
