The Passaic County Board of County Commissioners along with The Passaic County Office of Solid Waste & Recycling Programs is offering free on-site confidential document destruction & recycling services for Passaic County residents (proof of residency required) on the following dates:
- Saturday, April 1, 2023: 8 am to 12 pm - Passaic County Health Services Dept., 930 Riverview Drive, Totowa
- Sunday, June 4, 2023: 8 am to 12 pm – City of Passaic Employee Lot, 333 Passaic Street
- Saturday, September 9, 2023: 8 am to 12 pm – Hawthorne Pool, 32 May Street
- Sunday, November 19, 2023: 8 am to 12 pm – Paterson Museum, 2 Market Street
Collection Sites will be Open at the times indicated for each date (or until truck is full), Rain or Shine.
Lists of acceptable and unacceptable materials can be found in the downloadable flyer linked below. Up to 4 “banker boxes” (10"x13"x16") worth of paper documents will be accepted.
