How to opt out of automatically receiving vote by mail ballots

Passaic County Clerk Danielle Ireland-Imhof invites all voters who wish to opt out of automatically receiving vote by mail ballots to visit the online opt-out form on the County Clerk’s website www.passaiccountyclerk.org. If they have questions, they can contact the County Clerk’s Office Elections Division at 973-881-4127 or via email at countyclerkelections@passaiccountynj.org. Opting-out in writing is a statutory requirement and the Elections Division has sought to make the process as simple as possible with this online form.

Please note, the statutory date to begin mailing ballots for the June Primary is 45 days before Election Day (April 23). If there are voters who want to opt-out, they should complete the online form by Monday or Tuesday to allow time for their update to be made in the State Voter Registration System before the mailing begins.
