CORRECTION - Construction Notice, Notch Road – Rustic Ridge to Long Hill Road (From the Route 46 & Notch Road Interchange to Long Hill Road)

Underground utility work will begin on Notch Road between Rustic Ridge and Long Hill Road on Thursday, May 4, 2017. This work is being performed by a PSE&G contractor. This phase of the work will take 2 to 3 days. The balance of the work start later in the spring and will take place over a period of about 3 weeks and involve both detours and alternating traffic. For your convenience and the safety of the construction crews, we highly recommend you choose any of a number of available alternate routes or follow the posted detours.

The Clean Water NJ website (www.cleanwaternj.org/) has plenty of helpful information about what you can do around the house, in the garden, and in the community to help reduce the amount of harmful contaminants in our water.

Knights of Columbus Council #3835 invites you to join them on Wednesday May 24th, for a day of fun on our Atlantic City Bus trip to the Resort Casino. The cost is $30 per person, and you get $25 in slot money (You can’t beat those odds!!!!). The bus leaves at 9:00 AM from Holy Angels parking lot. Come early for coffee and donuts prior to leaving. 1000 Books Before Kindergarten

Did you know that reading to your child is one of the most powerful ways to boost his or her brain power? Sharing books helps your child learn pre-reading skills including: understanding the sounds that letters make, developing a larger vocabulary, and building background knowledge. As of January, the Library invites you and your young ones (any child from birth until enters kindergarten) to participate in 1000 Books Before Kindergarten. The program is free and provides a great way to bond with your child. Stop by the front desk to register and pick up a folder that contains a program overview, log, suggested booklist, and early literacy tips. Logging books read is as simple as checking off a number on a paper log or on the app. Incentives are offered at each 100 mark. Don’t delay, get started today! Vinyasa Yoga at the Library

The Little Falls Public Library offers two weekly Vinyasa Yoga sessions with instructor Stacey Myers-Smith, RYT-200. Sessions are held on Mondays at 11:30am and Fridays at 11am.
