Annual Lemonade Stand Fundraiser for CHOP

Little Falls resident Marisa Gizzi is holding her annual Lemonade Stand to support the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) on May 7th at 3:20 p.m., adjacent to the Little Falls School 2 parking lot, with a rain date scheduled for May 9th. The public is invited to attend and show their support for Marisa's mission to share her story, raise awareness, and spread hope.

Marisa has also been selected as an ambassador for the CHOP's 31-Day Challenge, an annual fundraising event organized by CHOP to support pediatric healthcare initiatives. Participants engage in various activities for 31 days, raising funds and awareness to improve children's health through research, patient care, and community outreach programs at CHOP.

The tradition of holding a lemonade stand started when Marisa's brother, Robbie, initiated the stand in kindergarten as a gesture of gratitude to the hospital that saved his sister's life. Last year, their efforts raised over $3,000, and this year they aim to surpass that with a goal of $5,000 and donations from every state.
