Fluorescent/LED Bulb & Hazardous Battery Collection

The Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders along with Office of Solid Waste & Recycling Programs is offering free fluorescent/LED bulb & hazardous battery collection services for Passaic County residents (proof of residency required). The collection will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the St. Mary’s Church Parking Lot, 10 Lenox Avenue, Pompton Lakes, NJ. The Collection Site will be open from 9:00AM - 1:00PM, Rain or Shine.

Acceptable Materials:

  • Fluorescent Bulbs (all shapes and sizes including compact fluorescent)
  • LED Bulbs
  • Batteries (lithium, nicad, zinc, rechargeable, dry cell, button cell, lead acid (car))

Unacceptable Materials:

  • No Alkaline (AA, AAA, C, etc.) batteries accepted as they are not hazardous

This collection is for Residents only! No commercial businesses.
