In collaboration with Hackensack Meridian Health Mountainside Medical Center and the New Jersey Sharing Network, the Clifton Health Department will be holding a Pop-Up Information Session on Organ/Tissue Donation on April 11, 2019 from 11am-1pm at the Main Memorial Library, Community Room A, 292 Piaget Ave., in Clifton. Registration is not required. Local residents are encouraged to stop by at anytime to hear from organ donor recipients, consider their role in this lifesaving and healing journey, and how they can inspire others to provide hope through donor registration and living donation.
National Donate Life Month (NDLM) was established by Donate Life America in 2003. Celebrated in April each year, NDLM features an entire month of local, regional and national activities to help encourage Americans to register as organ, eye and tissue donors and to celebrate those that have saved lives through the gift of donation.
