City Green is bringing the Veggie Mobile to Clifton City Hall, 900 Clifton Ave., Clifton on Wednesdays from 2:30pm-4:30pm starting June 7th and ending November 8th.
What is the Veggie Mobile?
The Veggie Mobile is a custom-designed refrigerated box truck and mobile market that transports City Green produce across New Jersey to a variety of different locations. The Veggie Mobile provides increased access to fresh, local produce for residents who are unable to conveniently obtain healthy foods or do not have transportation to visit City Green’s farm stands.
What's on the Veggie Mobile?
What's on the Veggie Mobile depends on the season! Here are some of the vegetables you may find at different points in the year:
Spring: Salad greens, radishes, scallions, carrots, peas, broccoli
Summer: Greens, herbs, tomatoes, zucchini, corn, potatoes, melons
Fall: Greens, winter squash, sweet potatoes, turnips, celery, parsnips
Where does the food on the Veggie Mobile come from?
The Veggie Mobile transports fresh, organic produce grown locally on City Green's farms in Clifton and Mt. Olive, as well as seasonal fruit, honey, eggs and pantry items purchased from other verified local producers.

All City Green farm stands accept cash, credit/debit, SNAP/EBT, WIC FMNP and Senior FMNP.
